Our Clients’ Classes
Ad-hoc & Retainers
The firm admits two types of clients; Ad-hoc and Retainers.
Ad-hoc Clients
These are clients who have court cases or seek legal consultancy from the firm on a case to case basis.
Clients on a Retainer Basis
These are clients who wish to have permanent contract with C&D ATTORNEYS in so doing conclude Retainer Agreements for a period not exceeding twelve (12) calendar months with an option of renewal for an agreed period.
The work performed for these clients falls in, but not limited to the following main categories namely, corporate, financial, and contractual and dispute resolution, including arbitration.
Corporate
The firm’s work in the corporate area has included the formation of companies on behalf of public and private entities, for acquisition and operation of various types of enterprises, including banking, insurance, agency, manufacturing, energy and real estate. In connection with these works, the firm also drafts and negotiates investment agreements, joint venture and shareholders agreements.
Financial
The firm’s work in the area of financing includes review and negotiation of agreements covering loans from bilateral and international lending institutions, export credit agencies, and commercial banks on behalf of both government and corporate borrowers.
Contractual
The contractual work performed by the Firm includes the negotiations and drafting of commercial agency agreements and technical assistance agreements.
